On 29th October 2024, Antony Joseph and Deekshith K B (2nd year), Trisha Raj and Jhanavi H M (3rd year) were ranked among the top 20 finalists at the National-Level ‘Code-Create-Conquer’ Hackathon 2024,
On 8th April 2025, students participated in Code Igniter 2025 at GSSSIETW, Mysuru. Trisha Raj and Sadhu took part in Code Hunt and Code Tic-Tac-Toe, while Antony Joseph and Deekshith K B were declared winners for their excellent performance.
On 7th–8th November 2024, students participated in the CICADA Tech Fest at Atira Institute of Technology.Antony Joseph, Deekshith K B, Nithin Prakash, and Trisha Raj took part in the Hackathon, as well as events like Prototype Building and Bugg Off.In the Paperazzi event, Deekshith was declared the winner,while Trisha Raj and Nithin secured positions in the Top 6.
On 8th April 2025, at Code Igniter 2025 organized by GSSSIETW, Mysuru, Antony Joseph and Deekshit emerged as winners in the Code Hunt competition, part of the 8th National Level event. They also participated in Code Tic-Tac-Toe, showcasing their coding skills and competitive spirit.
On 8th–9th May 2025, Sadhu J, M Vennela, Sri Lakshmi, and Thirtha Prasad secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at SYMB/IoT 2025, a 24-hour National Level Hackathon held at VVCE, Mysuru. The team showcased excellent innovation and teamwork throughout the event.

This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students, faculty, and staff who have consistently excelled in various sporting events throughout the year. The award stands as a testament to our commitment to promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence in athletics, further solidifying our department’s reputation both academically and athletically.
2nd year students of AI & ML visited URSC, Bengaluru where they were made to know about the launch of several communication and remote sensing satellites, including the INSAT series of satellites and the Chandrayaan-1 and Mangalyaan missions. Also students visited the Satellite Assembly Building, where they saw the assembly, integration, and testing process of satellites. Overall, the industrial visit to URSC was an excellent learning experience for all the students.
2nd year AI & ML students visited The ASC Centre and College, Bengaluru on 13th March 2023. ASC Centre plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective logistics operations of the Indian Army. The students were briefed about the augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed virtual reality concepts with live demo. Also the demonstration of EV vehicles were shown.
2nd year AI &ML students visited Laerdal Technologies, Bengaluru on 13th March 2023, which is a software company that manufactures interactive mannequins using AI. The company specializes in creating lifelike medical training mannequins that simulate a wide range of medical scenarios. The students had the opportunity to interact with techies and learn about the technology behind the interactive mannequins. The students were first introduced to the basics of CPR, which is an essential life saving technique that everyone should know. They were also given the chance to practice their skills on their interactive mannequins.
