The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a talk on “Ability enhancement skills for industrial exposure” for the first-year students as a part of the induction programme on 8^th September 2023 from 10 AM to 4 PM.  Mr. Raghavendra D, HR and admin, Rangoon’s LLP, Mysuru was the resource person of the event. Mr. Raghavendra D educated the students about how evolving fields like engineering and technology changes with continuous advancement and jobs in the IT industry demand trained and up-to-date individuals that keep track of industry changes. The resource person explained how Career guidance can help students understand their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, and provided them with a clearer picture of the career paths available to them. He also explained the students about the importance of improving communication skills and how it enables students to identify, articulate, model, and solve problems. A total of around 236 students participated in the session.
